Ignite Conference 2015

IGNITE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

July is around the corner which means we are preparing for our annual IGNITE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE. We will be hosting IGNITE beginning on July 14th thru 17th at the Felix Event Center on the Azusa Pacific University Campus. The theme of IGNITE this year is “Discipleship…What’s Next?”

Our IGNITE Leadership Conference is a time for our Fellowship to re-charge and refresh our PURPOSE and VISION. Whether someone is or is not in ministry, or if a person desires to aspire to ministry, IGNITE is a time for the people of God to be challenged and encouraged. They will be challenged to find their “gifting” in the body of Christ and exercise it in their congregations or to strive to become more fruitful as a Christian.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:13-14, that we are called to the “The Salt of the Earth and the Light of the World”. He goes on to say that if we are not having that influencing and illuminating effect on those we are called to reach then we are not being effective as Christians.

Jesus also said in Matthew 9:37-38, “The harvest indeed is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth laborers into his harvest.” It is by no coincidence that our Fellowship is called “New Harvest Christian Fellowship”. We decided years ago that our vision and purpose for existence as a ministry is to reach the harvest field; people and families who are in search of healing, deliverance, peace, and guidance for their lives through our risen Savior.

IGNITE is also a time for our Pastors and Ministry Workers to be encouraged and to re-group if necessary, to fine-tune and strengthen their congregations and ministries.

There are 4 Ministry and Family based workshops, which will be offered each day during the morning sessions. The workshops will be repeated as soon as the first one finishes, to allow those in attendance to get to more than one workshop each day. Each morning will conclude with a General Session which will bring together all in attendance.

Our evening services will be challenging, inspirational, motivational and encouraging with messages brought by pastors who each have over 40 years of experience in multiple areas of church ministry. We will be led in Worship by our dynamic praise and worship team, which includes special guest artists, who will also be ministering. You won’t want to miss any of these nights.

IGNITE 2015 will also host it’s first ever Youth Conference (UTH), at the other A.P.U. Campus down the street. For those who want to stay on campus there is boys and girls housing that will be offered and 3 meals a day (Kids love to eat!). Team contests, games, prizes, and of course evening worship services will feature music especially designed for their age.

We believe at New Harvest Christian Fellowship, that our next generation, our teenagers, are the future of our fellowship. Whatever investment and resources it takes to build their faith and train them in the way of the Lord, are well worth it.

Finally, I would encourage and challenge you to do whatever is necessary to attend our IGNITE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE this year. I would also encourage those parents, grandparents or guardians to invest in their teens in order to help them attend the UTH Conference so that they can experience the awesome fellowship and camaraderie that comes when they are in a Godly and healthy environment with Godly Youth workers and Leaders.

Go to our website for information on schedules, speakers, topics and UTH Conference registration www.ignitetheconference.com. Please join us in dedicating time to pray, fast, and anticipate God to move in your life and the entire conference this year.

God Bless and see you at “IGNITE 2015”.
