At least one 3 hour weekend shift per month

Saturdays: 11am-10pm

The ideal “Breakroom” volunteer is someone who: 

• Loves to interact with our awesome junior high kids.
• Wants an opportunity to teach, have fun with, and impact a very important age group.
• Can volunteer as a Teacher, Sign-in Aid, Snack Provider, or Creative Arts Worker.
• Can be available at least one Sunday morning per month.
• Can make a one year commitment to our kids.

Function & Requirement

• Solid Rock Café: We can always use people who have a heart to serve. What you would do is help prepare the coffee, deserts and drinks. Be available twice a month.
• Group Leader: To become a group leader, we ask a 1 yr. commitment. You must help assist a group for 90 days. You need to have a heart to see people recover from the addictions and the pains they have suffered in life. We ask that you attend 1-hour training.
• Worship Team: You must be screened to qualify to sing. Play an instrument.
• Audio Video: Ability to run a sound Board. Able to run computer & knowledge of Power Point.

As we partner together in reaching our youth – the next generation of Leaders, Pastors, Evangelists, Musicians, Teachers, Husbands, Wives growing the Kingdom of God, we invite you to review the different areas of ministry where you are able to serve and utilize the gifts that God has given you. Functions: 

• First Time Visitors: Being a part of our First Time Visitors team, you will have the opportunity to meet and greet each visitor that attends our services. Your interaction with each person that enters our doors plays a vital role in the growth of IDY and most importantly, the growth of each new teen.
• Cafe: Within the Cafe Ministry you will have the opportunity to work with other fun & enthusiastic people within a cafe type environment.
• Monitors: Our Monitors are responsible for supervising general crowd control both inside and outside of our game room as well as assist in care of our arcade games, pool tables, and gaming consoles.
• Media: If you enjoy technology and electronic gadgets, the Media Ministry would be a great fit for you! You would be participating in the media aspects of our services: Computer, PowerPoint, Lighting, etc.
• Sound: If you love music and/or helping with sound in a technical aspect, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team of musicians and other sound engineers that enjoy what they do.
• General Setup & Music Ministry Setup: Each month, our IDY game nights and discipleships depend greatly on faithful workers that are available to help with both the ‘set-up’ and ‘break-down’ process for IDY. From setting up tables & chairs, moving misc. equipment, to setting up the music equipment on platform, we are looking for committed and dependable people that can help in this area.

1. Must be a member of New Harvest in good standing for a minimum of 6 months.
2. Must pass a background check.
3. Attend Leadership Training Classes and work towards a Leaders Medal of Excellence.
4. Be able to work Wednesday Evenings  6pm-9pm.

Function:

• Greeting and helping people as soon as they enter our parking lot
• Manage the parking lot and maintain traffic flow
• Assist in their seating
• Handling distractions so that the Pastors can minister effectively
• Assisting in offerings, altar calls, and church ordinances 

Requirement:
Possess a pleasant disposition; Should have attended New Harvest for at least 6 months.

Commitment:
Minimum 1 year commitment required.

Creativity is a gift from God. Are you creative? Are you good with computers? Are you comfortable with technology? Do you enjoy working with video or sound?    

New Harvest seeks people who have a burden or passion for this kind of ministry, who want to see Media & Communication used to glorify God.

This even includes people who aren't trained but who are teachable.

Consider investing yourself in another's life. Be a mentor.  There are more people asking us for help than we have workers. We also need your prayers to reach prisoners with the Gospel.  

How You Can Help:

• Volunteer to care for our children (screening required).
• Be faithful and prompt when your rotation time comes to serve in the nursery.
• Pray in thanksgiving with fervency and persistence for our children, parents and nursery staff.
• Volunteer to provide the nursery with needed supplies.

The ideal worker is someone who has a heart for children, is energetic and creative.  As a volunteer you have an opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of a child. Opportunities to serve include Master Teacher, Games Worker, Alter Call Worker, Sound Technician, Sign-In Aid, Snack Worker, and Puppeteer. 

Commitment:

At least one service per month

• First Service: 9:00 am - 10:15 am
• Second Service: 11:00 am - 12:15 pm
