Men's Transitional Home
Men's Transitional Housing and Training Program
New Harvest Men's Home is owned and operated by New Harvest Christian Fellowship of Norwalk, California. We are a nonprofit Christian organization that is dedicated to helping the hard-core drug addict, alcoholic, and those with life-controlling problems. Our Program involves a minimum six month commitment. The men are in a group live-in environment.
The men are taught a disciplined life-style and are very much involved in Christian activity. The men are helped to change their behavior pattern with personal and group training covering marriage, parenting, and drug/alcohol abuse. We work with the men in the principles of Christianity, producing people that are able to function in our society as Christian citizens. Through daily spiritual encouragement and Bible studies, we are able to instill within the individual a sense of personal conviction, dignity, and responsibility not only toward himself, but toward society as a whole. We hold four group sessions a week as well as personal one-on-one attention throughout the week as needed. We provide Anger Management classes which are in compliance to California Penal Code 1203.097, substance abuse and a parent training program. The client is automatically enrolled in Celebrate Recovery, a 12 Step program providing several classes including substance abuse.
Our Program has been recognized and recommended by several judges in many of the Courts throughout the United States and parts of England. Local courts include Compton Superior, Downey Municipal, Los Angeles Municipal and Superior, Norwalk Superior and Rio Hondo, just to name a few. We have also received several clients recommended to us from different probation offices in Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Diego County, Kern County, Colusa County and others throughout California.
